Before I started this journey, (and actually after, too) I used to see or hear about people who would get up at 4 and 5 am to run, bike, or participate in any other type of early morning exercise. My thoughts at the time….
Well, fast forward a year and here I am. It’s 6:30 am and I have just come back from my morning run.
3.5 miles in 40 minutes.
This was a slow run, even for me. The humidity this morning was at 93% and with a 72 degree temperature, it was like running through a brick wall. It’s been a long time since I sweated this much. I was sweating the minute I walked out of the door this morning.
But I digress.
Yesterday morning I was up at 4:30 and in the pool by 5:15 and proceeded to swim a total of 2,400 meters.
Yes, I am officially one of those people and loving every minute of it.
I now understand.
